How to Claim your Crowdloan HKO Rewards

Parallel Finance is a user-focused DeFi protocol that strongly believes in transparency and accessibility for our community members and the greater DOTSAMA ecosystem. We identified the following questions from community members regarding how to claim their crowdloan HKO rewards.

Questions:

• How to claim HKO using the Parallel Finance platform?
• How to claim HKO using polkadot.js?
• How to claim HKO using Nova wallet?

This guide will walk you through how to claim your HKO reward via each of the platforms mentioned above.

1. How to claim HKO using the Parallel Finance platform?

1. Go to app-heiko.parallel.fi/stream, and connect your wallet. You should be able to see your HKO rewards under the Incoming Payments section. Click the Claim button.

2. Upon clicking the Claim button, a pop-up window containing all the information, including the amount of HKO you can claim, the HKO that you’ve already claimed, and the HKO that is still locked will show. Click Claim (amount) HKO button to claim all currently available HKO.

3. After the transaction goes through, the HKO you have just claimed will show up in your Heiko Balance in the overview section and you’ve successfully claimed your HKO reward.

2. How to claim using polkadot.js wallet.

1. Visit https://polkadot.js.org
2. Select the Parallel Heiko network in the bar that opens up on the left side.

3) Select via Parallel and then go up and click on the Switch Network button (top of the left sidebar)

4) Select Extrinsics

Your account should appear in the top field (if there are any available tokens to claim, they should appear in the “free balance” on the right side of the page, looking on the same row/field)

5) Move to the next (below) field called “submit the following extrinsic” and select “vesting”

5) Select “claim()” on the right side field (on the right of vesting as you look on the same row) then submit and sign the transaction and you’ve successfully claimed your HKO rewards on Polkadot JS.

3. How to claim using Nova wallet?

1. Open your Nova wallet
2. Select DApps and enter this URL in the search — https://app-heiko.parallel.fi/stream

3. Upon opening the URL, click the “Claim” button and follow the same process as listed in How to claim HKO using Parallel Finance platform above.
